doing: downloading some last minute music for my trip this weekend. yes Shan, i like The Dredsen Dolls!!!

feeling: tired and anxious. i'm awful at packing and i'll be doing it as im walking out the door tomorrow... i hate that!


this week has been eventful and yet un-eventful at the same time. its been a pretty good week at work. Jeff and i are actually 100% caught up on Senior proofs! thats been a hard thing to come back from after loosing our inturn! my wedding albums arent toooo bad, but my order bin is a mess! i just ended up staring at my screen today for about a half hour becuase i couldn't decide what to do! i hate doing that, but when there is SO much to do i just have no clue where to start!

the little piddly stuff has already started. usually i get that closer to Christmas time when families want just one image worked and sent to them then fixed then sent again. or finding a cd from 3 years ago because they need a print for Gma by next week! yeah, that kind of stuff has already started. little annoying, but i have to say that the Christmas cards that i've made so far have rocked! i might have a good year!

i've been trying so hard in my head to think of a good, realistic way for me to get caught up on my stuff. i don't like asking Jeff to take orders home to retouch, lord knows he already does enough stuff around there! i think i'm going to have to start going in on Mondays. at least for part of the day. then i can turn off the phones and just work for a few hours straight! i need to get better at bringing work home with me, but its just so hard here! i can't stay up all that late and when we have 2year old running around until 9 that doesnt leave much time to do anything else. besides... i'm so freaking tired i just want to sit and NOT think!! i feel the pressure of Christmas season coming on already. we've already decided that September snuck up on us. we both keep thinking that we have weeks and weeks for things.. but really its only 4 days away. awful.

ethan. is a joy. hes going to be 2 in a month! i can't believe it! it seems like SO long ago that he was a teeny little baby! but he's growing and changing all the time! hes starting to talk in complete sentences... sometimes! thats amazing to me! everything he does amazes me really. like tonight when he was eating his crayons and then spitting them onto his color sheet...... amazing....
he still copies everything you say. if you ask him if he wants juice, he'll ask you right back if you want juice! he's getting yes and no down for little things, but not for things that he doesnt really understand as well. anyways... amazing little thing he is! now i have the joy, and headache, of planning his birthday party!

this weekend, tomorrow at 9am, ethan and i are heading to missouri for the weekend. my aunt and uncle are having a party for their 25th wedding anniversary and both of their 50th birthdays! it'll be fun and nice to get out of town for a bit! matts not coming, because he didnt want to. it'll be nice for him to hang out with his friends without ethan and i around!

next weekend, sunday, we and my parents are taking a trip to Boone to see Thomas the Train! who knew i'd ever get so excited about a damn train! i KNOW that ethan is going to freak out! and i hope hope hope that he has a wonderful time!

september is full and october is getting to be that way too. in october we have 2 weddings on the 11th. i'm a little nervous about it but the bride and groom are so fun that i think it'll be just fine! then on the 25th is the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure! that will be fun simply because we wont have any weddings afterwards! i'm excited about that! then november brings families families families and christmas cards galore! i'm NOT ready for that! but after that, hopefully, this year we will have an actual slow time! i'm thinking like 2 months at least! last year we had 2 weeks. literally. thats not enough!

i have to finish my downloading and get to bed! i'm so tired i'm not even sure that i can read my book tonight! tracy = on the 3rd book of the Twilight series! i'm in LOVE! :)
