doing: this, and trying to talk myself into housework!

feeling: tired and lazy and a bit grumpy
i finally got a few seconds to write on this thing, and actually have something to write about!
this past week has been CRAZY! i feel like i haven't been home at all! and i really haven't.
i went to a jewlery party with my Mom on monday.
i was supposed to have a meeting at church on wednesday (Reese wouldn't let me leave and broke down into tears).
on friday i had a chocolate party at my moms house. a fabulous thing if you are ever interested! its Dove chocolate and its wonderful!!
saturday matt and i went to work on jess' habitat house! we only stayed for a couple hours because our babysitter was a last minute thing, but it was still fun and we got to help at least a little!
saturday night we went to the race in Newton with jess and mike. i really went because i needed to be out with adults! and i felt like we never do anything like that anymore, just go out with our friends! it was so fun! i hate nascar type races, but it was still a great time! we laughed alot! and we all picked a car to win. mikes started in the top 10 and ended up close to the end! i picked one and halfway through the race he just disappeared! quitter!! and matt picked one that was doing really well, but he pitted EVERY time! matt was so mad! it was quite humerous! and matt didn't want to stay for the concert afterwards... lame-o... so we went home about 9:30ish.
sunday i had to go to church and then we headed off to Boone to visit Thomas the Train! that was fun, although ethan never sleeps enough before we go do something like that... so he was grouchy. made for a quick trip, but he still had a blast! There were games and story time and music and food... oh and a gift shop! we got ethan a rail set and a moterized Thomas for his birthday! and my rents got him a tee shirt! they had a petting zoo too that he really liked! and of course the train ride that he just loves! he likes riding on buses or trains or anything like that!
now, its monday. and i'm so exhausted! i just want to lay in bed all day! of course ethan wont let me do that, and i'm done with my book..... and i can't sleep during the day so thats kind of out of the question. too bad. i have to talk myself inot doing some housework that i really would rather not do. and i have to get some retouching done on my laptop! everyone is caught up at work except for me. i need to start going in on mondays to work, but i just dont want to pay for the sitter. and half days seem like such a waste. i feel like id get over there and then have to come home. maybe i can start trying to take ethan over with a load of movies! that might work okay!
.... laundry is calling for me. *sigh*
