Twilight Bitches!!

first off-Twilight the movie. i have been looking forward to this movie FOREVER! ever since Shan got us hooked on the books i've been crazy for them! so Matt and i finally FINALLY got out of town to see it last night(wednesday) in I-town. we sat, we watched and we LOVED!! it is just wonderful! i loved it!

okay, i had absolutley NO pre-conseptions about the movie going into it. i figured that if they got the characters rigth and followed the story at least for the most part it would turn out good. sure sure, some stuff was changed, but they had to be. not everything was exactly like the book, but it was in the general direction of the book. the characters were cast GREAT! matt and i both thought that they did a great job with casting! and, also, i'd agree that Kristin Stewarts performance could have been stepped up a knotch, she wasnt exactly like i pictured Bella in the way that she acted.

all in all, i don't care what anyone else says. if people think that the movies should be EXACTLY like the books then they should start footing the bills for the movies... oh yeah, and be able to sit though a 4 hour production.. because thats about how long it'll be!!

and now for the rest of my life. the most exciting thing is that our friend Shan Varn is back in Kville!! yeay! we five girls got together on saturday night and it was so fun! we talked and snacked for hours! just like old times! then on tuesday i asked Shan to come to Pella and be my model for the afternoon! it was fun and she just hung out and talked with Jeff and i.... Shan... i'm sorry again about my boss!! :) it's been great to have her around! and once Terri gets her act together and gets text messaging and perhaps a FaceBook page(yeah right) we'll all be connected once again!! i'm hoping that we'll get a chance to go out again this weekend again before she goes back to Mexas. and Shan, we promise that someday we'll save enough money to come and visit you! or meet you in Vegas, or a cruise.... or the Carribbean!!!

and now, Thanksgiving is over. it was wonderful and lazy and delicious!! we are off to hang out with the Heckmans who are over at my parents house and eat pizza. that's how the Croghan's do Thanksgiving!! haha!!

WONDERFUL news about today is that Twilight comes out today!! i've been looking forward to this movie for MONTHS! i won't get to go tonight.. but hopefully this weekend i'll be able to find time!!!

also, the new Blackberry Storm was released today! it looks SSOO wonderful, but i'm not quite ready to give up my current Blackberry.. i love it too much!

feeling: sick and tired and ready to get some work DONE!

its been awhile! i've had a lot going on and nothing going on at the same time. its November... well, almost December! how did that happen!? i've been making Christmas Cards like its my lifeline for the last few weeks. i've also been taking work home to try to get myself caught up. its not working. and now its crunch time-people are going to expect things back before Christmas... and i'm just not sure that we'll be able to deliver! people will live, i'm pretty sure of it. i just don't enjoy the phone calls!

other than work being overwhelming.... my family is doing well! we've all 3 had this cough/runny nose thing thats going around. Ethan's over his now which is GREAT! he's been sleeping in until almost 8 every morning this week! its really nice! i can actually get ready almost completley before he wakes up! i hope he keeps it up too! hes still rotten as can be and sweet as sugar all at the same time! he's started saying "i love you" when i say it to him! melts my heart every time! and he's gotten into giving kisses on owies too! he still thinks that all my freckles are owies.. that just means more kisses for me!! :)

matt is slowly getting himself ready for tax season. he didn't get enrolled for classes again this semester, which is sort of okay. but all three of the classes that he needs to finish his degree are offered next term! so he's ready for that, and i know he's ready to be done with school!! now his biggest decision is wether to go on and get his CPA or to just stay with an accounting degree. he talkes about doing both so we'll just have to see how it goes. i think he's still enjoying his job! he hasn't talked about quitting for awhile so that's a good sign!

as for the rest of general life its going okay. we shot our last wedding last Saturday! yeay for free Saturdays! so i'll get to go help with Jess' house a bit more. of course, its almost all done... but i hear they are painting this week and that happens to be the ONLY thing that i'm decent at! hopefully i'll get in there for a couple hours tomorrow morning! we see Roby just about every night. he's pretty much a constant at our house, which i have no problem with at all! he and matt have been getting free $1 movies at FamVid for the last couple weeks, so we've been watching movies almost every night! its fun!!

well, i have to start thinking about lunch. i'm not hungry at all for what i brought... wish i had crackers to eat with it-its brown soup FYI (thats dinty moore beef stew) but i suppose i should eat soemthing or i wont get anything but wheat thins.
