Photography as a Passion

How were blogs such a fad for so long and now nobody does them anymore?
I really think I would write in an actual journal, but sometimes I just really hate to write with a pen and paper.  Plus I type much faster!

So this is my outlet, still-it always has been-things I can think and say and just have either to myself or to anyone of you who decides to read it.  I'm going to hopefully start writing a little more and I'm about to let you know why.

My professional life in a short summary,...
I went to college for Photography and what started as a love turned into a full fledged passion!
I got a job in Pella for someone I would do absolutley anything for!  We grew a good business for 8 years together.
Things happened, sh^t hit fans.... I played the best game of beer pong in my life that night!
I got a new job in Knoxville for a couple who WANTED me, sought me out to work for them!
I worked hard to grow their business while still being able to do what I loved!
More sh^t hit more fans.....I cried a lot and my husband said some things that put my life back on track.
And now its November 11th, 2014,

Now I am currently in between "gigs" as it were.  I'm working somewhere that I truly enjoy and getting a few more weekends with my boys!

But I miss it.  I miss my creative outlets that my profession provides me.  I am in ""TRUE LOVE"" with photography and hate having to live without it for so long.

I want/need a place for my creativeness to be seen and heard and enjoyed!  And I'm hoping this can be that place.
I follow newborn photographers, senior photographers, wedding photographers, prop shops and photoshop action shops all on facebook.  I get jealous of them every day that they have an adorable newborn to pose and try new ideas on.  Of the senior and wedding photographers who have a new face to look through their lens at, a new attitude, a new wink or smile or silly face!  And all of those prop shops?  Lets just remind everyone that I love to shop and I love my newborn props! (possibly why my husband won't let me have my own credit card....)

While I can't take a client in and try new poses and see new faces, I think I can still get some creativeness going with images I already have (hece: You'll see E's face, ALOT)
Or just a landscape or an art piece.

I hope you will enjoy some of my work, maybe it'll make your day better, and it will help me to know that I can still share my passion in some form with the world!
