nothing terribly exciting has happenend lately. today were "sick" becuase Ethan woke up last night and was sick. it was great. i was NOT looking forward to my first puking experience. breast milk puke is MUCH different than solid food puke. i'm sure you all love that image! :) so Ethan needed a day off from the sitters and apparently i did too... we're at work right now because he's not even close to acting like he's sick! and i NEED to get some work done! (hence why i'm blogging!! haha!) i'm just working on some orders.

i've been drinking soda this week.... i dont know why but it tastes SO good! i've had two ENTIRE mt.dews. i never drink a whole can. and right now i'm on my third. i need to stop that.... but soda as opposed to water sounds so much better!!

we're having an open house one week from today. i'm still praying that the rigth person falls in love with the damn place so i can be rid of it forever! i'm just so grouchy because it seems like we'll never get it sold! fix it up you say? we don't have the money. burn it down you say? interesting....... ;) the cleaning and fixing tiny things needs to be done this weekend so we are ready for this open house deal. its so much work to clean.... i'm lazy, you know that!

i guess my biggest news is about church. i've been helping for about a year now with the Youth Group at my church (high school kids) and the church has been on an ongoing search for a Youth Ministry coordinator. of course all the adults have been telling ME that i should take the job. but with Ethan and my real job, working saturdays and all that i just couldnt wrap my head around it.
we recently had a meeting with the youth and asked them to sort of write a requirement sheet for this new YM. they came up with some great stuff! but the thing that got me thinking(again) was our group came up with and idea for a Committee to be in place for the YM. this means that there would be a list of people already in place to head service projects and teach classes and drive and on and on. and then God tapped me on the head and i realized this is what i would need! i could coordinate, but i would have never been able to do all the other stuff! so if i could walk in and have a great set of people willing to help out with all the extra (and fun) stuff then i'd be set! i honestly don't know why i didnt think of it before!!

so i thought hard about it, talked to Matt about it, and prayed about it. Matt was suprisingly on boared right away! it was really nice! and i've decided that its something that i would really love to do. it'll be hard to balance my life and then two demanding jobs... but my life is already so un-balanced that maybe this will somehow help! who knows! i just know that i think i'll be good at it., i hope i'll be good at it! and everyone is so excited that i'm considering it!

they don't have everything finalized as far as the job description yet, and they have to offer it to the parish first. but basically if nobody else comes forwards that wants it, its pry pretty much mine.


its almost nap time.... for Mommy and Ethan! so i should finish up my work and head out.
